MS Dhoni Now Holds a World Record of Most Not Out’s in One Day International (ODI) Matches

Former Indian ODI Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni recently played his 300th ODI match against Sri Lanka. It was a huge milestone for him to play 300 games for India in ODI format. Apart from MS Dhoni 5 other Indian players already played more than 300 matches including Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Mohammad Azharuddin, Saurav Ganguly and Yuvraj Singh.

In the game against Sri Lanka MS Dhoni was unbeaten at 49 runs as India finished 375/5 score after 50 overs. MS Dhoni just fell short by 1 run by scoring his 100th international fifty. MS Dhoni was unbeaten between 40-49 runs 11 times and only Australian Michael Beven is ahead of him who was unbeaten 13 times.

MS Dhoni is one of the finest finisher of the game and he proved this again and again. In ongoing series against Sri Lanka MS Dhoni played crucial role in 2nd and 3rd game and took his team to winning zone. In his 300th ODI match MS Dhoni broke world record of Shaun Pollock and Chaminda Vass of most not outs in ODI game. Yes, MS Dhoni remained 73 times Not Out in ODI match and now tops the list.
